asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will set out a table in the Official Report showing any easily available statistics of comparative wages between electricity workers, working for local authorities in Scotland, and in England, respectively, inclusive of any bonus agreements.

New pay rates have yet to be settled for local authority electricians in Scotland from 1st January 1975 and in England and Wales from 7th November 1974. On the basis of current rates, I understand that average weekly earnings inclusive of bonus earnings for an approved electrician are about £54 in Scotland and about £49 in England and Wales.
