asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many local authority purpose-built comprehensive schools have been constructed in the CLASP method.

The Department does not keep a special record of purpose-built comprehensive schools. Such information as is available shows that at least 53 new comprehensive schools or first instalments of such schools have been constructed using the CLASP method.
