asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the number of sites disposed of in the area of the North-East Thames Regional Health Authority in the last 10 years; if she will list the major sites; and what was the total income from such sales of land.

All the information required by my hon. Friend is not easily available. The total receipts by the Health Service from the disposal of land in the area of the North East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board in the financial years from 1964–65 to 1973–74 was£1,100,402.Land sales in the last seven of those financial years from 41 sites amounted to 47 acres.
