asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from (a) EEC members, (b) EEC associated members, and (c) nonmembers of the following product groups in SITC numbers, 04 grain and products. 041 wheat, 043 barley, 044 maize, and 046 flour, 05 fruit and vegetables, 051.5 fresh grapes, and 052 dried fruit;(2) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from (

a) EEC members, ( b) EEC associated members, and ( c) non-members of the following product groups in SITC numbers, 0.2 dairy products, 022 milk and cream, 023 butter, 024 cheese, 025 eggs, 03 fish products, 031 fish, and 032 preserved fish.

(3) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from ( a) EEC members ( b) EEC associated members and ( c) non-members of the following product groups in SITC numbers, 01 meat and products, 011 meat, 011·1 beef, 011·2 sheep, 011·3 swine, 012·1 bacon and ham, and 013 meat in airtight containers, &c.;

(4) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from ( a) EEC members ( b) EEC associated members

and ( c) non-members of the following product groups in SITC numbers, 071 coffee, 072 cocoa, 074 tea, 081 feeding stuffs, animal, 081·3 oil cake, &c., 081 ·4 meat meal and 091 lard, &c.;

(5) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from ( a) EEC members ( b) EEC associated members and ( c) non-members of the following product groups in SITC numbers 054-4 tomatoes, 054·5 other fresh vegetables, 055 preserved vegetables, 061 sugar, 061·1 raw sugar, and 061·2 refined sugar;

(6) what was the volume and average price per ton of imports in 1970, 1974, the fourth quarter of 1974 and the latest available period in 1975 from ( a) EEC members ( b) EEC associated members and ( c) non-members of the following product groups in SITC numbers 051·7 edible nuts, 05192 pears, 051·93 stoned fruit, 053 preserved, &c. fruit, 054 fresh &c. vegetables, 054·1 potatoes, and 054·2 beans, &c.

The information needed to answer these Questions is not readily available and I am not, therefore, able to give the hon. Member a detailed reply today. I hope to be able to publish an answer shortly.

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what estimate he has made for balance of payments purposes for the volume and average cif landed price per ton of the following products in SITC Section O for, respectively, the first and second halves of 1975 and 1976 from (a) EEC members, (b) EEC associated members and (c) non-members, oil seed cake, &c., fish oil, soya bean oil, lard, &c., eggs, fresh fruit, tomatoes, potatoes and other fresh vegetables;(2) what estimate he has made for balance of payments purposes for the volume and avarage cif landed price per ton of the following products in SITC Section O for, respectively, the first and second halves of 1975 and 1976 from (

a) EEC members, ( b) EEC associated members and ( c) non-members, tinned fruit and vegetables, wheat, maize, barley, rye, raisins, raw sugar, refined sugar, and meat and fish meal;

(3) what estimate he has made for balance of payments purposes for the volume and average cif landed price per ton of the following products in SITC Section O for respectively, the first and second halves of 1975 and 1976 from ( a) EEC members, ( b) EEC associated members, and ( c) non-members, beef, sheep meat, pork, prepared or processed meat, bacon, cheese, dried milk, butter, margarine, fish and fish products;

(4) what estimate he has made for balance of payments purposes for the volume and average cif landed price per ton of the following products in SITC Section O for, respectively, the first and second halves of 1975 and 1976 from ( a) EEC members, ( b) EEC associated members and ( c) non-members, preserved fruit and vegetables, flour, alcoholic beverages and unmanufactured tobacco.
