asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the current figure set by the Secretary of State under Prison Rule 25.

:For any unconvicted prisoner who is allowed to occupy a specially fitted room or cell, £1·50 a week or 25p a day in a broken week, and for relief from the duty of cleaning a cell or room and similar duties 25p a day. VAT is payable in addition.
