asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the present intervention price for beef in Northern Ireland, and in Eire; and what is the boning allowance in Northern Ireland and in Eire.

There is no single intervention price for beef. The buying-in prices published by intervention agencies vary according to the quality and grade of cattle from which the beef is derived and the presentation of the beef in question.
