asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many jobs are currently provided by Enterprise Ulster, urban and rural renewal schemes, and Operation Clean-up in Bangor, Newtownards, Comber, Hollywood, Hillsborough, Saintfield, Ballygowan and Donaghadee.

Enterprise Ulster currently provides 23 jobs in Bangor, 37 in Newtownards, and none in the other towns named. Information on urban and rural improvement schemes—URIC—and on Operation Spruce-Up cannot be given in the form requested. URIC currently provides 53 jobs in the North Down area. A total of 78 men are employed in Operation Spruce-Up in the following district council areas: North Down (8), Newtownards (12), Lisburn (5), and Down (53).
