asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will publish, from international sources available to him, how much steel is produced and how many motor vehicles are produced, in the latest convenient year, in the United Kingdom, USA, France, West Germany and Japan.

Preliminary figures of overseas steel production were compiled by the International Iron and Steel Institute and published in "World Steel in Figures". Figures of motor vehicle production are published in the "Monthly Statistical Review" issued by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, copies of which are available in the Library.
