Mr. Joel Barnett, supported by Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Secretary Varley, Mrs. Secretary Williams, Mr. Secretary Benn. Mr. Secretary Ross, and Mr. Robert Sheldon, presented a Bill to provide further (by extending Section 2 of the Statutory Corporations (Financial Provisions) Act 1974) for compensating certin nationalised industries for their losses due to price restraint; and to make other provision with respect to finance and administration in the public sector: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed.
