asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many letters and telegrams he has received in the last three months from Lancashire textile workers and their union officials on the current situation in the textile industry.

asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many letters and telegrams he has received in the last three months concerning the current situation in the cotton textile industry from textile workers and their union representatives.

The Prime Minister, Ministers in my Department and I have received very many such letters and telegrams during the last three months, which have indicated very forcibly the strength of feeling in Lancashire.
