asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make facilities available to all women for screening for breast cancer.

I would refer the hon. Member to my detailed reply to my hon. Friends the Members for Bury and Radcliffe (Mr. White), Liverpool, Scotland Exchange (Mr. Parry) and Ormskirk (Mr. Kilroy-Silk) on 28th Aprilβ€”[Vol. 891, c. 9–12]β€”in which I explained the action I proposed to take, in the light of expert advice recently received from the joint working party on this subject.
