asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, if he will list the number of bankruptcies in farming in the last 10 years to the end of 1974.

The number of bankruptcies—receiving orders administered—in agriculture in England and Wales during the last 10 years was:

The system is also being used to investigate the interaction between the aerial and root environment and in particular those between air temperature, root temperature and nutrition. The technique is being further developed and evaluated by ADAS on a wider range of protected crops.
