Mr. Guy Barnett
asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the number of deportation orders made during the period 1963 to 1974 on each of the following grounds: breach of landing conditions, family deportation, and because deportation was conducive to the public good, saying in the last case whether the reason was criminal convictions, suspicion of criminal activities or national security; and if he will analyse these figures for Commonwealth citizens, citizens of the Irish Republic, and aliens.
