asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) whether the 1976–77 health centre programme will be centrally selected; if not, how it will be selected; and, in either event, when the 1976–77 programme will be made known;(2) whether the proposed health centre at Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, is or will be included in the health centre programme for 1976–77.

Arrangements for the 1976–77 health centre programme will be announced when I have the short-term report of the working party on resource allocation referred to in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Chorley (Mr. Rodgers) on 8th July.
