Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, supported by Mr. Secretary Crosland, Mr. Secretary Foot and Mrs. Secretary Williams presented a Bill to limit liability for certain remuneration; to enable certain provisions of Part II of the Counter-Inflation Act 1973 to be extended and to amend section 2 of that Act; to enable grants to local authorities to be reduced in certain circumstances; to enable housing subsidies to be increased and to provide for a new grant to local authorities in Scotland; and for connected purposes: and the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed [Bill 215].
