asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he is satisfied with the record of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in the field of house repairs; and if he will take steps designed to increase its efficiency.

My right hon. Friend is satisfied that the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, in spite of the special difficulties which it faces, is making strenuous efforts, including a review of its own internal arrangements, to tackle the problem of house repairs.
