asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many disabled persons in the Greater Manchester Area are provided with invalid tricycles or issued with cars; how many are in receipt of the £100 vehicle allowance; and of these how many live in the Bury Metropolitan District.

This information could not be extracted without a disproportionate use of resources because the Manchester Artificial Limb and Appliance Centre covers a much larger catchment area than Greater Manchester.
