asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many persons are registered as disabled; and how many are in receipt of disablement benefit in the Greater Manchester area and the Bury Metropolitan District, respectively, at the latest convenient date.

The number of people registered on 31st March 1975 under Section 29, National Assistance Act 1948, to which I assume my hon. Friend is referring, was as follows:
