asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many international commercial contracts and agreements have been made following Government to Government collaborative agreements involving British aerospace projects; if he will list them; and how many of these will require renegotiation by Her Majesty's Government and for the other parties if BAC, HSA, HSD and Scottish Aviation are nationalised.

It would not be appropriate to give details of these commercial arrangements, of which there are many. Under the Aircraft and Shipbuilding Industries Bill, BAC, HSA, HSD and Scottish Aviation will be taken over by the new corporation as going concerns, and existing contracts will remain binding on them. In general therefore, renegotiation will not be made necessary by nationalisation.
