Mr. Hicks
asked the Secretary of State for Employment what has been the male unemployment rate in the South West Development Area and Plymouth Intermediate Area in July for each year since 1964 and what are the corresponding percentages for Great Britain.

pursuant to the reply [Official Report, 30th July 1975; Vol. 896, c. 519–20], gave the following information.The following table shows the information available. For years prior to 1966 statistics of the unemployed in development areas were compiled only for each June.
