asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list the tasks performed by the Post Office on an agency basis for Government Departments, the revenue obtained by the Post Office for each task performed in the last financial year and the cost to the Post Office of performing each task.

Details of (i) the major agency services undertaken on behalf of Government Departments mainly across the counter; and (ii) total revenue received from each Department for which the Post Office acted, during the financial year 1974–75 are shown below.has been the level of direct outward investment for each of these years; and what the latter has been each year as a percentage of the former.
