asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what reactions he has received from local authorities to his recent circular recommending the encouragement of new forms of housing co-operatives.
Mr. Armstrong
No formal applications have yet been received for the approval of agreements to transfer responsibilities to co-operatives, but several schemes are in preparation.
