asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will give the number of accidents caused by motor vehicles jackknifing for each year for which figures are available from 1966 onwards and the annual number of fatalities involved.

I regret that the information is not available in the precise form requested. Also it is not possible to separately identify accidents caused by jackknifing from those in which jackknifing was a result of the accident.
