asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she intends to approve the proposal to spend approximately £1 million on reorganisation of secondary education in Matlock before the end of 1977, in view of the national economic situation and the fact that the new comprehensive school would still be spread over at least four different sites over three miles apart.

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) when she will sanction Derbyshire County Council's proposals for secondary reorganisation in Matlock;(2) when she will sanction Derbyshire County Council's proposals for secondary reorganisation in Ilkeston;(3) when she will sanction Derbyshire County Council's proposals for secondary reorganisation in Ripley;(4) when she will sanction Derbyshire County Council's proposals for secondary reorganisation in the Derby-Kilburn area.
