asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what approaches he has received from Cumnock and Doon Valley District Council to transfer the ownership and cost of the council's advance factory at Patna to the Government or a Government agency.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from Cumnock and Doon Valley District Council about interest rates charged for new house building and increases in local authority house rents.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from Cumnock and Doon Valley District Council about the proposed cut in rate support grant.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what representations he has received from Cumnock and Doon Valley District Council seeking special central Government assistance to diversify the economy in those parts of South Ayrshire still heavily dependent upon mining for employment;(2) what representations he has received from Cumnock and Doon Valley District Council against the high level of unemployment in the Scottish economy.

None since my right hon. Friend met representatives of the council in January last, with the hon. Member present.
