asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when, and by whom, a final decision will be taken about the possible removal from the Brook General Hospital of the regional units for cardiology, neurology, cardiothoracic surgery and neurosurgery.

The feasibility and likely cost of relocating these specialities are still being discussed. No decision to implement the proposals will be taken until there has been further discussion between the regional health authority and the

Hospital and the Brook General Hospital at the most recent convenient date; and if he will compare this figures with the same date in the five previous years.

Waiting list figures for surgical specialties at 31st December each year:of the hospitals in the Greenwich Health District.
