asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the cost of each of the Army Cadet Force, the Combined Cadet Force, the Sea Cadet Corps and the Air Training Corps.

The cost of these cadet forces in the financial year 1976–77 is estimated to be:

There are Combined Cadet Force contingents in 267 schools, of which 78 are local authority schools.
