asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what stocks of foodstuffs and beverages are being held by the European Economic Community.

The following table shows the amounts of agricultural produce held in official intervention stores in the Community. There is no buying or storage of wine or other beverages by Community agencies.
