asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will now estimate the increased total cost to the common agricultural policy by the undervaluation of the green D-mark.

As the green deutschemark is undervalued agricultural support prices in Germany are higher than in the rest of the Community. Although this must be presumed to affect the balance between consumption and production we cannot estimate the effect on the total cost of the common agricultural policy.
