asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals the Scottish Education Department has received in recent years from the Dunfermline College of Physical Education to broaden the use of course facilities for wider use by the community and sports interests generally.

The college submitted proposals in November 1976 for new courses in recreation and leisure, health studies, sports psychology and movement therapy. Consideration of these proposals has been deferred pending consideration of the issues raised in my right hon. Friend's paper of 17th January.
