asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish figures showing the origin of detonators recovered by security forces in Northern Ireland.

Detonators recovered by the security forces in Northern Ireland during 1976 were assessed as having the following origin:

| Marked for use in the Irish Republic | 598 |
| Unmarked | 468 |
| b. American manufacture | 199 |
| c. German manufacture | 6 |
| d. Others and unidentifiable | 14 |
