asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the working of his guidelines on cash limits for future revenue spending based on the joint funding of local authority and health authority projects.

Consultations with the associations of local authorities about the arrangements for joint financing are continuing, and I hope to make an announcement before long.
