asked the Secretary of State for Scotland on what basis he puts organisations on the mailing list for Press releases on highway proposals.
Mr. Millan
This list mainly consists of media representatives—national, provincial, technical and freelance. The general criterion for inclusion on this list is thta recipients are bona fide journalists, but other recipients have been included at their request. These are headquarters of political parties, motoring organisations, local authorities, citizens advice bureaux and the STUC.
