Mr. Wm. Ross
asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will now make a further statement about the future of the meat industry employment scheme.
Mr. Dunn
On 30th March my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland announced the extension of the Meat Industry Employment Scheme for a further three months. The new rates for the scheme take account of the recent further devaluation of the Irish Republic's green pound. I have deposited details in the House of Commons Library.
