asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the level of food subsidies provided by Her Majesty's Government since February 1974, both in global terms for each commodity and in price per unit and those changes already announced but not yet implemented.

The level of expenditure on food subsidies since April 1974 is given below. It is not possible, without incurring disproportionate cost, to give figures from February 1974, but expenditure in the first quarter of 1974 is shown, where applicable.
