Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved,

That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision about the Price Commission, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

(1) grants in respect of expenditure incurred after 31st March 1977 in connection with the collection and dissemination of information relating to prices and charges and other information of interest to users of goods and services and in connection with the giving of advice relating to prices and charges;

(2) any administrative expenses incurred by a Government department in consequence of that Act; and

(3) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable under any other Act out of money so provided.—[Mr. Ashton.]
