asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many marriage guidance councillors will receive training in the treatment of sexual difficulties under the scheme of the National Marriage Guidance Council which is being supported out of public funds; how long their training will last; and what qualifications they will already be expected to have.

About 100 by the end of the current three-year project; one year of basic training and a further year of close supervision: National Marriage Guidance Council training and experience and the recommendation of their local National Marriage Guidance Council tutor.
