asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many Government factories are currently unoccupied; what was the date of their construction; and where they are located.
At 30th April 1977 the number of unoccupied Government factories in England was 109, including 40 terraced units i.e., small factory units contained in blocks of terraced factories. Their locations, and in the case of new advance factories, their dates of completion, are as follows:
