asked the Prime Minister if, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Melton (Mr. Latham) Official Report, 3rd May, c. 218–19, that there is every reason to anticipate that prices will start to turn down in the third quarter of the current year, he will list (a) the reasons for his anticipation, and (b) the typical classes of goods the prices of which he expects to go down.

In reply to the first part of the Question, I refer the hon. Member to the replies which I gave to the hon. Member for Melton (Mr. Latham) on 3rd May and the hon. Member for Brentwood and Ongar (Mr. McCrindle) on 28th April. The reply to the second part of the Question is "No".
