asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many dentists per 1,000 of the population there are in the London borough of Lewisham; and how this figure compares with the national average.

Dentist-population ratios are not available for areas, such as the London borough of Lewisham which are smaller than those of area health authorities. On 30th September 1976 the number of dentists practising in the General Dental Services in England was 0…25 per 1,000 population.
