asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what Property Services Agency properties could be used for the dispersal of Civil Service jobs to the provinces and Scotland.

The requirements of the programme for the dispersal of civil servants to the regions, Wales and Scotland cannot, in general, be satisfactorily met in the required locations in existing PSA properties. For the bulk of the dispersal requirements a detailed programme of new construction and leasing has been worked out.
