asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total amount of factory space currently available for lease or purchase in each of the Scottish new towns.

Space available, in square metres, on 31st May 1977 was:

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total amount of factory space currently on lease or purchased from each of the Scottish new towns and how many of the jobs connected with these are in (a) manufacturing and (b) distribution services.

The information at 31st March is as follows:age price per domestic unit sold in 1976/77 are set out in the recently published annual reports and accounts for that year of the South of Scotland Electricity Board and the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board. On this basis, the information requested is as follows:
