asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received concerning the proposal to close the Highbury Hospital, Nottingham.

I would refer the hon. Member to my replies to my hon. Friend the Member for Nottingham, North (Mr. Whitlock) on 28th November—[Vol. 940, c. 18–20]—Representations have also been received from the hon. Member for Carlton (Mr. Holland) on behalf of the Nottinghamshire branch of the Union of Shop. Distributive and Allied Workers, from the Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians, the National Union of Public Employees, the Basford Flats Tenants Action Group and the Save Highbury Hospital Committee.
