Mr. Tim Smith
asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the numbers of people in full-time employment in the Ashfield District in June 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 together with the numbers of people unemployed on the same dates.

The figures in the table below relate to the Hucknall and Sutton-in-Ashfield employment office areas, which cover most of Ashfield district. Census of employment figures for 1977 are not yet available.
