asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what arrangements are being made by the EEC Commission to prevent the return to EEC markets of butter previously disposed of to the third countries.

I have made my views clear to the Council of Ministers on the subsidised export of butter to third countries. The Commission is currently investigating recent allegations about the reimportation of such butter.
