asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list for each year since 1968 the following figures concerning the British Steel Corporation; the post-tax losses and profits, total number of employees, per capita output expressed in terms of liquid steel production per employee, domestic steel deliveries, exported steel deliveries, and the company's percentage share of the United Kingdom domestic market.

I refer the hon. Member to the relevant annual reports and accounts of the British Steel Corporation, which are laid before the House. The annual reports and accounts do not give market share information, and the hon. Member should write to the Corporation on this.

asked the Secretary of State for Industry what restrictions he is currently imposing on the operations of the British Steel Corporation.

The Corporation is subject to the provisions of the Iron and Steel Act 1975 and the Iron and Steel (Amendment) Act 1976. BSC has a cash limit.
