asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will list the industrial production figure for each year since 1970 of every member country of the EEC, the United States, Canada and Japan, using the figures for 1970 as a base index of 100;(2) if he will list the industrial production figures at the latest available date for each member country of the EEC, the United States, Canada and Japan, using 1970 as a base index of 100.

These figures are published regularly in Trade and Industry. I am sending the hon. Member a copy of page 461 in the issue for 2nd December 1977 which contains the information required.
