asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what medical sectors will be comprised in the phase 2 development of Bangor District General Hospital; and whether provisions will be made for obstetrics;(2) when he expects phase 2 of the Bangor District General Hospital to begin; and what will be the estimated cost.

It is too early to decide on further major developments of the new Bangor District General Hospital, which is at present under construction at an estimated cost of over £20 million, including staff accommodation, and which will provide over 500 new hospital beds when completed in 1980.
