Member for Norfolk, North Official Report, 18th July 1977, c. 388–90, comparing movements in the retail price index with indices of income tax and national insurance payments, for a single person, a married couple and a married couple with two and four children, earning 50 per cent., 75 per cent. and 100 per cent. of average earnings in each case.
