asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he is now in a position to state when the public participation exercise relating to the route to be adopted for the proposed Llanrwst bypass, Gwynedd, is likely to commence.

It is hoped to hold the public participation exercise for the Llanrwst bypass in September of this year. The exercise will include a public exhibition in Llanrwst describing three feasible routes and inviting comments. Full details of the dates, times and place of the exhibition will be announced locally nearer the date of its opening.
